Powdery Mildew

Powdery mildew is a common garden disease during humid and warm weather. The disease is caused by a fungi that likes to grow on the surface of many plant species’ leaves. It is especially fond of members of the cucurbit family, like this squash. Powdery mildew causes a decline in a plant’s overall vigor, can kill individual leaves, and reduce yields.
