Cool weather has finally (sort of) arrived! To protect our crops from harsh temperatures, we cover them in the evening.
Here are some shots of a volunteer working on shiitake inoculation. Once the logs are cut, we drill holes and fill them with inoculant. Then we seal them with wax, hang them up, and wait!
