Howdy! Thanks for asking! This space-age looking structure is called a high-tunnel. Fitting name, I know. This was installed out at the garden to ensure that we could extend the season’s on many of our crops! Basically, that means we can grow tomatoes, peppers, gourds, and other warm weather crops in colder seasons! It’s being built through Dr. Suzanne O’ Connell’s HORT 3200 course and is a first out here. Feel free to come check it out at the UGArden Fall Festival this Thursday Oct. 20!
