One of our ongoing projects at UGArden is cleaning up all the large sticks (and fallen trees) from the amphitheater area so we can make it a usable space again. Right now it’s a task akin to weeding in that it can always be done, because there are always more sticks.
(Note: while writing this, I found this: It’s from a webcomic I follow called “Dumbing of Age”, and this particular update happened just a couple of days before we worked on the amphitheater last week)
Last week we moved cucumber and tomato transplants into larger pots and also hung up trellis systems that will allow them to grow larger. We also dug up some hybrid raspberry seedlings that developed off of already established plants. It wont be long before these are fully formed fruiting plants themselves!
