My name is Mollie Simon, and I am a sophomore journalism major working towards New Media and Local Food Systems certificates. Last semester, I had the chance to tend to a plot at the UGArden through the Sustainable Community Food Production class, and for spring 2016, I am excited to be returning to the garden as an intern.
In the future, I hope to combine journalism with my passion for food issues…and someday hope to open a bed & breakfast or bakery (hopefully with a garden in back!).
